Our Story
Joseph Michaud’s journey to sobriety is the heart of our mission. A former chef with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Joseph’s career led him into a world of late nights, parties, and the temptations of drugs and alcohol. For years, he struggled under the weight of addiction, until 2022, when alcohol took everything from him. In his darkest moment, Joseph contemplated ending his life. But in that moment of despair, he turned to prayer and experienced a divine intervention that changed everything.

God’s grace not only saved Joseph’s life but also set him on a path to sobriety and purpose. On the one-year anniversary of his sobriety, Joseph had a life-changing conversation with the pastors from his local church. They shared a simple yet profound truth:

“It’s not about a religion; it’s about your relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Those words became the cornerstone of Joseph’s recovery and the guiding principle of this nonprofit.
